Vienna Wanderpass: Independent Redesign
Vienna's official city hiking pass exists in two forms: a physical booklet issued at the city hall and a printable A4 sheet available for download. This project is an independent redesign of the latter.
The redesign works with an A3 format divided into 16 sections, two panels for the front and back cover, and fourteen fields for collecting stamps along the city's hiking trails. Three cuts and a sequence of folds turn the printed sheet into a compact booklet. The construction is intentionally simple: the kind of thing that can be done at a kitchen table before heading out.
The format was developed around how the pass is actually used across multiple routes, over an entire season, as something gradually filled rather than completed at once.
